Le Parfum d’une Femme
Le Parfum d'une Femme is my first exhibition in New York and also showing my erotic inspired work.
The exhibition opened in the lovely St Kilda store in Park Slope, Brooklyn amongst a eclectic crowd of connoisseurs in late November and runs until 23rd Dec 2010.
The exhibition Le Parfum d’une Femme explores the realm of the exquisite feminine; taking inspiration from aspects of feminine sexuality and sensuality, through a series of watercolors .
Through the light and expressionistic medium of watercolors I painted a whimsical array of scenes inspired from 1920's boudoirs, whimsical gardens with jewels, flamenco dancers,Goddesses, and orchids all coming together in an exotic, heady fusion to create a perfume that hints at the often hidden natures of female sexuality and her power.
